Help please! All of a sudden after working perfectly for 4 years, my unit stopped working. I scanned and printed 24hrs ago, went back to do a scan last night and nada. I can hear the scan start, but nothing in the progress bar. Rebooted the printer and computer (Windows 10), still nothing. Error messages 255,0,0 and 155,0.0, and 162,0,0 keep saying lack of communication (its wireless) but I can see it communicating with the printer (lights flash, etc). So I uninstalled the software intending to see if that helps, but now I can't get the software to download from the Canon site, here https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/imageclass-mf264dw#idReference%3Dsoftware-drivers I click the box for Software and Drivers and nothing happens. My unit is registered with Canon, but the box at the bottom wants me to register it. I just need to get the software, how??? Thanks in advance. (Of course its the middle of the night and I have work to do!).

hi Rick, don't know if you're still able to help, I finally got some time to follow your instructions from Aug 26. I did everything you said: removed the printer and uninstalled the MF scan utility, but it wouldn't let me remove the driver because even after re-booting, when I tried, it said the driver was in use (see error message) but it was not.
I tried with the printer powered on and off, same error. I reinstalled both the files below. I also installed a USB cable just in case, didn't help.
I still have the same problem: The scanner window opens, I click the button to start the scan and it makes a couple of buzzing sounds as it always did when it worked, but the progress bar doesn't move and on the printer the green light is flashing and red one glows. Its so frustrating and I'm almost ready to trash it and buy another one because I've had to go elsewhere to scan and it slows down the workflow. Any last ideas before I do that?
Thanks
Andy

Greetings,
To get back up to speed. Are you able to use the copy function from the printers LCD to copy an item on the glass and does it print what you copied?
The printer does not support multiple connections (Wireless, USB, ethernet) simultaneously. This would likely cause connectivity issues. Attempting to re-install the drivers over a failed or non-functioning installation could also cause problems. It's best to do it once.
I'm not clear what's keeping you from uninstalling the print driver. It's possible you have documents stuck in the print queue. Restarting your system should have resolved that but you can also open up the Services Applet and bounce the Print Spooler service. Do that and see if you're able to uninstall the Print Driver.
The two drivers that you're using are correct.
