Hello, hope someone can help me! Have a 3yo MF260 laser/printer/scanner, and suddenly it won't scan. Nothing has changed in my setup from 3 days ago when it worked fine. I have it set up wirelessly, and it will print fine. Clicking the scanner utility brings up the message in the attachment. I'm on a Win10 machine. I tried powering off and unplugging the printer, re-booting the computer, no difference. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. (I'm willing to connect with a USB cable, but would prefer not to).

Thanks for joining the conversation, andy4photo!
So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the MF260 series. This should appear on the front of the printer at the lower right. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!
If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.
Thanks and have a great day!

Hi thanks. The printer says MF264dw, but the scan utility says MF260 if that makes a difference. That's the same scanner utility that I've had since day 1. Thanks.

Hello all. As of tonight, 3 days after I posted, the scanner function is working normally again. I didn't do anything. Although I originally rebooted the computer, that didn't fix it. I've rebooted once a day since then, now it works. No explanation, which is lucky since I've also gotten no comments. Thanks.
