The scanning issues on the imageClass MF devices connected via usb has been my main source of frustration ever since switching to windows 11. I have about 30 workstations that are all exact the same spec and OS. Only about 5 of those had no issues installing the drivers with the official installer from the canon website. Another 10 would take like 5 tries to finally install. The rest of the workstations cant get the installer to copy the scan drivers. The workstations that are using Brother MFPs have had zero issues whatsoever.

Imageclass MF 264 dw ii with Windows 10 pro.  Same issue, other functions work but scanner gets an error code.  E302-0001.  Any suggestions?

Hello MelissaT,

The E302-0001 would point to a hardware issue with the scanner. These is a small chance that the code is power related.

You can try unplugging the printer from the power and then pressing the power button 10 times while the printer is unplugged. After that, you can plug the printer into a different power source, and you can try turning it on. If that does not resolve the issue, it looks like the scanner would need service or replacement parts.

To check your service options, you can log into your MyCanon account or contact support at 1-800-652-2666.
