I downloaded the appropriate software for Mac Sequoia

This still appears even after updating firmware

Hello,

The D1320 uses our MFtoolbox and not the MFscan utility. You can try installing the software using the link HERE. The Scanner Driver & Utilities for Mac V2.15.19 download will install the toolbox. Once installed it will be in applications under Canon utilities.
