Having issue with the printer leaving indentions in the paper from something. Not really a clue would like to know what it could be.

 Thank you for your inquiry, and welcome to the Canon Forums. We appreciate your participation, however, for the community to best assist you can you provide us with the following information:

 
1.  Is the issue with the print out or when paper is feed through the ADF?

2.  Was a paper jam removed recently?

3.  Was a toner cartridge replaced recently?

 

Please check for any debris in the printer using the paper jam instructions in the operational manual:

Please remove the toner cartridges to check for any debris.

 

Please try cleaning the fixing assembly:

Please try cleaning the Transfer Belt:
