I have recently purchased a Canon DR-G1130 ImageFormula high speed scanner. Installed the driver and other software onto a Windows 7 system with 2 gb ram. When I went to scan a large document it only scanned at 30 ppm. I checked the settings of the software and the scanner settings (set a high speed). How do I get it to scan at its advertised speed of 130 PPM!?!?!

Not sure if this is the answer, but if you scanned using OCR, or optimized on your initial scan it scans slow. I always find it best to scan, then OCR alot faster
