I'm trying to register my newly purchased Pro-1100 printer but Canon has yet to send the verification code. If the folks here at Canon can see the email address attached to this forum account, that's where the code needs to be sent. IF you can't see my email address can you give instruction on how I can have a code sent? Thank-you.

Verification code? No verification code is needed to register your Canon product.
Log into your MyCanon account.
https://myprofile.americas.canon.com/us/signin
Select Product Registration in the navigation page and follow the prompts. I suggest you upload your receipt as proof of purchase. Canon will keep this information safe for you should you need it.
