I have a MF644CW, the toner came with the printer, it has 30% left.
I was curious to open the printer and double-check the correct model to order tonner.
However, the printer said it is a counterfeit product which is absolutely untrue.
Could you please tell me what to do? Because I don't want to click accept and lose my warranty.
Thanks

Hi buffalowing.
The MF644Cdw uses Cartridge 054 of each type (CMYK). If the toner cartridge was not damaged, try removing it completely and then reinserting it. If the problem persists then the toner cartridge will need to be replaced.
Canon toners are under a separate warranty from the printer; if a new Canon genuine toner cartridge is experiencing this problem, you may contact our support for help with troubleshooting it and accessing any available warranty options. Our support is available at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) Monday-Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm ET, excluding holidays.
