The driver cannot detect my MB2320 printer even though its connected.

My MB2320 printer is connected to my computer via USB port.  It can be detected (in general) by my computer (I can print a test page); however when I try to install the full driver, it cannot detect it.  I have unplugged it and turned it on and off. I have tried to reinstall three times.  I have turned off the computer and turned it back on. I tried to install the MP driver instead, it still says it cannot detect the printer.  I can't scan because it won't finish the install of the drivers.

Greetings,

Things that might affect printer detection:

Port you are connecting to

USB cable you are using

Using an adapter or hub

3rd party anti-virus software

Thanks. How can I adjust the antivirus settings so it’ll work. I’ve tried turning off firewall but it still didn’t work.

Greetings,

Are you saying you have a 3rd party AV installed?  My suggestions are guesses, as we know almost nothing about your environment.
