My printer/scanner is connected to my computer, and I have verified that it detects my computer as a source for scanning (it had been prompting me to connect a computer, so I restarted my computer and now have the scan to computer menu available).
When I click on any of the scan types, it pauses for a second, then says "Canceled." with no explanation.
Please help!

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, the Canon imageCLASS MF8050Cn has been retired. That means we do not offer support for the printer or updated drivers. We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer.
