Scanner doesnt work from computer

Hello

Anyone has a solution. My scanner MB5000 series does not scan from the computer  it says not connected. But i can scan from the scanner and will send the image to the computer.

In order to better assist you, allow me to ask a couple questions:

• Do you get any support code or error message when scanning from the computer?
• Are you scanning from the document feeder or the platen glass?
• Which version of Windows or Macintosh are you using?
