Scan issue with Maxify MB5320

Hi,

I have several computers using my Maxify MB5320 printer. When I use the scan function the only destinations listed are USB drive and only one of the computers set-up to use this printer. How do I get the printer to show/list all the printers using this machine? I have there are 3 laptops and one desktop in my home it only lists the desktop (which I am retiring out of use) as a destination for any scanned docs. How do I get the printer to recognize the laptops as a destination for scanned documents?

Thanks for posting!

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, the Canon Maxify MB5320 has been retired. That means we do not offer support for the printer or updated drivers. We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer. They can be reached at 866-443-8002.

And that is why we'll think twice before purchasing a Canon printer to replace our mb5320.   These printers are still working, and in  wide use (as evidenced by your the emergency fix you had to role out in June when you borked them all,) you're basically creating planned obsolescence which is offensive.

Even worse these are still being sold and reviewed pretty widely.

We'll keep using it till it no longer prints (the scanning is already of no use from a mac) but we'll give a close look at the Brothers (which seem to just work) and Epson printers.

Also, it would be nice if the EOL reports: https://www.usa.canon.com/about-us/kyosei-our-corporate-philosophy/environment-and-sustainability/pa... were not password protected.  Why would you make me phone someone at Canon to get the password?
