Greeings,
These types of errors can be an unexpected consequence of a servce pack or operating system upgrade.
I am not familiar with "Capture Perfect". Is this Canon software?
Edit. Found it on Canon's Asia Website v3.1.55 Latest Download here
I believe the printer comes with "CaptureOnTouch" here is the US.
First step:
Run windows update, download and install all updates avaiable for your OS
Now retest and see if the behavior still occurs.
If yes, continue >>>
Uninstalling the Software:
Start Menu > Control Panel > Programs and Features
Open this dialog and select the program or software you wish to uninstall. Select uninstall at the top of the list. Suggest you uninstall Capture Perfect v3.0. Restart before installing the updated package v3.1.55
Now test and let us know if this resolves the runtime error.
