MF733Cdw - a loud long beep when starting a print job, no errors. All sounds turned off, volume set to 0 but none of these settings helps. I'm not sure how but printer is on firmware v07.05 while the website shows latest firmware version is 06.02. How do I downgrade? How do I fix this annoying issue.

Greetings,
Having a higher FW release that whats avaialble from the support page for your printer is not a bad thing. Canon pushes out FW updates to its printers periodiucally, so you should not downgrade or be concerned.
In this case, I would contact Canon. Not about the FW version, but about the long beep and see what they have to say.
