When trying to print from any machine (desktop, iPhone, iPad) the printer throws an error and fails to print. The remote user interface shows the unhelpful message "A maintenance error has occurred". Going to the printer, the orange error LED is blinking and the screen shows the following:
I'm not certain what's going on. Why does the error message say 'Load paper.LTR.Plain 1'? The drawer 1 paper size is set to 'Letter', and the paper type is set to 'Plain 2 (19-21 lb bond). I verified that the paper type is correct. When I touch the highlighted selection '1 LTR/Plain 2' the printing completes normally.
I would like to not have to physically intervene with the printer to make the print job start. Is there some setting that I am missing here?
Sorry to ask what is probably a simple question, but I need to get this resolved to maintain relative marital bliss . . . Thanks!
