imageCLASS MF644Cdw scan to email error message 839

I am getting an error message when I scan to email,  Error 839.  I have look over all my setting and can see nothing wrong.  I suspect it is a password issue but I don't see where I can edit that.

Hello,

The 839 error would point to a problem with the username or password used for the scan to email settings. You can review or edit the mail settings using the steps in the link HERE. If you continue to have issues or would like assistance configuring the settings, you can contact our support team at 1-800-652-2666.

Hello,

I've just bought a Canon i-SENSYS MF 657Cdw.Every time I try to scan a page via email I receive the Error: #839.

Unfortunately, I cannot use the software on the CD.

Please, can you give me some suggestions?

Greetings,

You do not need a CD or any software to configure scan to email.  You can make the required settings in the prjnters webserver or remote UI.
