This problem is not unique to this model, as evident in the countless threads of people complaining about not being able to scan. When I try to scan through Toolbox, it starts scanning (progress bar), times out, and then says error communicating with printer.
Why won't tech support respond with anything OTHER THAN REINSTALL AND RESTART? We paid money for a product that works, not to waste hours and hours trying to fix it.
