MF269dw small plastic part - found in paper tray

hello, I found this random plastic part in the paper tray of my mf269dw. Does any one know where it goes ? Thanks in advance.

The image looks like it is one of the paper guides for the cassette tray. If that piece broke off of the printer, it could cause paper feed issues. In this situation, you can contact support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666 or log into your MyCanon account to check your service options.
