I am having an awful time trying to get a Canon MF1643i II to scan a document and send it via email. I have it set up so that it is sending it via Gmail's SMTP relay. I have ensured that the Google account being used is set up correctly in that 2FA is turned on and I am using the App Password settings (created an app password, put that password in as the password for the account in the copier settings).
If I test the settings it says it is successful and that it can connect to the server. However, if I try to scan and send a document to myself, I always get error #806.
I have tried resetting the password for the account, changing port settings, etc. I have not been able to solve this issue though. Is there a setting somewhere that I am overlooking that would cause this to always fail? Any information would be appreciated!
