MAXIFY MB2140 Change cartridge notice (Black) won't come through, even though ink has run out.


When my colours run out, the message pops up and I change the cartridge. 

The black has run out and it won't give me the option to change it. I have tried turning the computer on and off, I have even tried to mass print black docs to force it to run out even more.

Please help!

Hi there. Someone posted a youtube video on how to force the machine to change the cartridge. What must I do if this happens again? Would love to know your solution? No empty signs come on even though the ink has run out. The colours work fine, just issues with the black

I have a Canon maxify 2140.
