Imageclass D1550 scanner tray paper jam error

I can't use the scanner because  it says there is a paper jam in the scanner portion of the printer. I followed the instructions to remove any paper. There is no paper in the scanner. I have unplugged the printer for 20 minutes to see if it would clear the error. Error comes back every time.

It sounds like you have completed the steps that should restore your imageCLASS D1550 to scanning like it used to.  At this point, I recommend contacting us at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) for further assistance.  I understand that the forum may be your preferred method of communication; however, speaking with our telephone technical support group will be very beneficial in this case.
