G3200 Printer is brand new. For 2 days I've been trying to install software so the IJ Scan Utility is loaded and operation. When I load the software downlaoded (win-g3000-1_2_n_jucd.exe) or from the CDROM (MPSETUP4.exe), I get: New port could not be created: 0023; MP Driver installation failed; or Installation Failed where the only option is Start Over. When it fails, I cannot search the internet even though my Wi-Fi connection shows I am connected and have internet service. After trying many things, ran the network troubleshooter and saw that the DNS server was not found. I finally rebooted my router and my issue was resolved. This issue is very consistent as I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software 4 or 5 times with the same loss of internet and need to reboot the router.
I manually installed the driver from the CD at \win\driver\drvsetup\setup.exe. This time IJ Scan Utility was an installed app, however I got an error "A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed. Install it and try again. Code:9,230,0. Gee, I would install it if I knew what it was looking for. Searched the error code using the Canon virtual chat (what a pain that it pops up continuously) but it could not 'recognize, the code.
I need some help, please.

Hello, and welcome to the Canon Community!
I'm sorry you're having such a frustrating time setting up your new printer. I'm not trained for tech support, but I've been doing this for a long time and have picked up quite a lot.
The first thing we want to do is set aside the CD-ROM. It's very outdated. Head to https://canon.us/G3200setup to install/reinstall the most current software and drivers on your computer.
If you've done that and you still need help, please let us know here, or register your printer at https://canon.us/account and contact support during their normal hours.

Thanks for the quick reply. My printer was registered and I created an account yesterday. The executable downloaded with the link you provided is exactly the one I mentioned above and used multiple times. Every time I run that it fails and kills my internet connection (to the point I have to reboot the outer).
When I click 'Start Setup' and run the installer highlighted above (from the link provided):
(I even tried running it as administrator with same results)
I pick the printer:
And get this error:
and get stuck in this loop:
So I tried just the 'Useful Software' instead of 'Start Setup'
I selected everything
and at the end got:
I select to run the II San Utility (I believe the install is from the manual attempt to load, see below):
And get this error:
This is the error after I installed the IJ Scan Utility from the CD ROM and ran it:

Scanner isn't loaded....
I tried to adjust power setting and see something very odd: 'Copy 5'?
If I go to Devices and Printers, I can select the printer and execute 'Start Scan':
Which pulls up this:
And actually works!!!
So, the software drivers loaded, but the IJ Scan Utility does not load.
