Imageclass D1150 and WIndows 10

after switching to Windows 10, I have lots of problems in scanning documents.  Essentially, the computer says that it cannot communicate with the scanner.  There was certain tweaks that will eventually allow it to scan (unplugging and replugging the printer and restarting the computer, attempting a scan in control panel/devices and printers via the scan method there), but as soon as I've left the computer sit for a few hours, I've lost the scanning function.  There are no new software drivers to address this problem - the Canon website immediately detects I"m using Windows 10 - but it has no drivers suitable for Windows 10.

Please, can you help!

Call the Canon support line. I have always found them very helpful.

Load drivers and Toolbox, conect printer to usb2, Go to win Accessoriesin in Aps, Click on Win Fax Scan, Follow directions.

Worked for me

I tried this and it worked but was not the Toolbox - scanned another way - via Windows 10. It scanned images as pictures and didn't give me option to scan as one pdf document.

I'm still not able to figure out how to get Canon Toolbox to work in Windows 10.  Any more updates on this. It stopped when the Windows 10 was installed - typical Microsoft aggravation!

Stil works for me ,but in new scan 10 lists file type: BMP, JPG, PNG, TIF. How do we get PDF listed
