ImageClass MF733cdw Color bands on back of paper

Hello!

I'm getting bands of color, usually Red and Yellow, appearing at the top of the BACK side of my printer paper. The manual doesn't give a clue on what's causing it, or where and how to clean the rollers, belts, etc. inside the printer. Does anyone know a source for this type of information, or is this a teardown service?

Hello Martkaufman,

If you are getting color bands inside of the printer, It will usually mean there is loose toner powder on the inside of the printer. In this situation, you can remove all of the toner cartridges and check the inside of the printer for any toner powder that you can wipe up with a damp cloth. While the toner is out of the printer, you can inspect the cartridges to see if any are leaking. After reloading the toner, you can try cleaning the ITB and fixing assembly, to see if it cleans up the rest of the toner powder.

Hi Hector,

This was resolved last November with a new printer.
