I have magenta smears on the left side of most pages. I've run the cleaning routines with no help.
I'm willing to buy a new magenta cartridge if that has a good chance of fixing the problem, but I don't want to just throw money at it.
Should I buy a new cartridge or take the printer to a service center (which is a bit of a job in itself)?
