Hi there,
My machine is fine with normal printing and single page scanning. However, when I put documents from feeder doing the double-sided scanning, the even number pages, i.e. P2, P4, P6, so on, has some vertical stripes on the right.
I tried the cleaning but it doesn't work. Since all odd number pages are fine, there might be dirt from the other side of the scanning unit, which I cannot clean from outside?
Please check the image posted in reply.
Can anyone help?

The 2nd side scanner element is in the scanner cover. Have you cleaned that glass section on the left end of the lid?

Hello,
The lines look like the scanner element is loose or damaged. A dirty element would usually show some of the document between the lines. To check your service options, you can log into your MyCanon account or contact support at 1-800-652-2666.
