I have a brand new Canon MF6100 scanner/printer which is touted as a real workhorse......
Well it seems like mine is lame. ;-(
I thought the MF tray would over ride the paper cassette when the trigger was activated.
Our other printer, an HP, happily draws from the MF tray when presented with different shaped fodder.
No special buttons are pushed, no special lights flash. You just plunk your item in the tray, push print.
In it goes and out it comes - printed and all......
Well our specialty paper or envelope just sits there, going no where, and the thing continually draws from the
bottom drawer. No amount of tinkering has given us any satisfaction!!
We started following all the steps someone else had posted on this forum ( in answer to others who were
running into the same problem) but on about step 9 realized it could not (should not)
be that complicated. (The answer didn't work for them either!)
What do I need to do???
