I've have tried everything in the manual to set a destination folder for my scanner only to receive the same message. "Failed to connect to the folder. Check settings." I notice in the manual, when they show a display of the Folder Setting Utility, there are Folders 1 and 2. I get no such display. HELP!

I will be able to assist you; however, I would like to ask a few questions to isolate the issue.
1. Is the printer connected to the network via a wired LAN to the router, or wirelessly to the router?
2. Is the destination folder local to your computer or are you attempting to scan to a folder on a different network?
3. Are there any errors or messages displayed on the screen of the printer?
