I am running win 11 on a new surface pro. It just wont recognize this scanner as a scanner. it kind of fought me on my old win10 laptop, but i eventually got that to work. Not now on 11.
I currently have DR-C225II_Driver_V.1.1.12005.15001SP4_Windows installed. I have tried a few others: DR-C225DriverV.1.1.12005.15001SP2, DR-C225_II_C225W_II_DriverforWindows_V.1.0.11404.8001_SP8. I have tried installing and repairing options, I have totally uninstalled and started over, and multiple restarts. And RepairReg.exe
I even tried using msdt.exe /id DeviceDiagnostic - "canon doesn't have a driver'. Letting that try to fix and restarting, didn't help either. I have tried new cables, including plugging it right into the computer instead of through my hub.
service are running

Its 2025, this shouldn't be so hard. I'm still mad i have to replace a perfectly good MF4890DW because it won't play with win11.
