Canoscan LiDE 600F - PDF image skewed.

BigJP

Hi, I have had owned my LiDE 600F since new with out problems. But I have noticed from time to time when making a PDF of a document the image it is scewed. ie it is not straight even the the original is placed straight on the platten. This normally happens making copies of hand written sheets. If I make a PDF of a printed document the PDF comes out straight.

It's almost like the hand written document is scewing the image via the PDF software for some unknown reason.

In the "settings" there is no adjustment to straighten the image.

Stranger still if I just make a "copy" of the hand written work the copy comes out straight on the printed sheet.

 Can some on help please?

If the issue persists, please uncheck "Detect the Orientation of Text Documents and Rotate Images" in the File Settings window and then attempt to scan again.

Many thanks, I was looking in the wrong "settings" box. Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. John
