cant lift the lid to access the scanner glass. It seems locked.

If the printer is new, please ensure all packing material was removed.

Look at the back of the printer where the scanner henges are located. Check for any debris.

Turn off the printer. Disconnect the power cord. Try to open the platen scanner cover.

I have had this printer for a long time and i have been able to lift the lid to scan documents until recently. i dont know what changed.
