Hello! I recently got this printer/scanner combo and have been wanting to scan my artwork with it. However, when I attempt to do so, there seems to be blurry spots in the scan along with lines that go through most of the artwork. I am suspecting it's an issue with the camera itself, but I don't know how to verify that. Please let me know if you have any ideas! I'm using the Canon IJ Scan Utility application if that helps. Thank you.
Things I've tried:
- Changing the output resolution (it's usually at 1200dpi)
- Changed the color mode
- Turned on/off all the image settings
- Positioned the artwork differently on the scanner
- Plugged the Canon into a wall socket
- Made sure the artwork was firmly against the glass
- Cleaned the glass with glass cleaner & a microfiber cloth
- Checked different artwork (the issue persists)
