Like subject says, my scans are now showing up with uniform white horizontal lines all along the document since I updated the firmware. The problem is not on my computer driver as this happens also if I use a USB stick directly on the scanner. The device is not heavily used, and was used for scanning documents shortly before the update and this was not an issue.
Also, is there a Canon support phone number? Or is this forum the only kind of support offered by Canon?
Thank you

Hello Javo01,
If you are getting horizontal white line in your scans and copies, it will point to a hardware issue with the scanner element. In this situation, I would suggest checking your service options from your MyCanon account using the link HERE or by calling support at 1-800-652-2666.

I'm having the same issue. But I don't see how it could be a hardware issue since I can make perfect copies. It's only the scan function that's creating the white horizontal lines.
