Our Canon Color Image Class model MF642Cdw is printing too dark. I have checked all the settings in the menu and I do not see where I can adjust the brightness on the color printer.
Does anyone know how to adjust the brightness?

Greetings,
Search the manual for Gamma and see if adjusting these settings helps.

The second person was on the right track, but after further digging, the settings I needed to mess with first off are in the Printer Driver Preferences. Then go to Qualitiy tab. Then choose Manual Settings in checkmark. Then choose Adjust settings. Now you have choices of adjust lightness, contrast and colors
