We have two FAX lines and have setup two printers, one C3320 and one C3325 Canon office printers to receive FAX and forward them to a folder in a DS215j Disk Station.
This doesn't occur every time but occasionally the printer will have an error forwarding to the folder and instead print the fax document out.
When I look at the log it saids the error is #809:
"A same file name exists on the server and cannot be ovewritten"
but there are no files that have the same name. One printer sets the file names to begin with FAXA and the other FAXB so it's impossible for them to be the same.
I've set the users for both printers the permission to be able to read and write. But still the error still occurs, like two to three times a day.
Weird thing is it doesn't occur everytime, most FAX comes in and will be forwarded to the folder in the Disk Station as setup, but just 2-3 files a day its 0Kb and the FAX will be printed out instead.
Any ideas how to fix this?
