We have a new Canon 622CDW printer. It is connected to our WIFI network so we can print to it from Mac, iPads, iPhones. Problem is, it automatically goes into Energy Saver Mode and does not wake up when someone is trying to print from it. Device just says "Printer Not Found". In order to get it to print, you have to go push the Energy Saver button to turn that off. My wife has disovered a workaround in which she leaves a menu on the screen all the time, which keeps it from sleeping. There is no way that we have found to turn Energy Saver Mode completely off. How can we make it wake up from ES mode when someone is trying to print from it?

Hi Gary555.
The LBP622Cdw should automatically wake up to print. This function may not respond when using non-Canon drivers, such as the preinstalled Airprint Drivers on Mac OS. Try installing the latest version of the Canon-produced drivers, then removing the printer and then re-adding it specifically to use the Canon drivers. While the Canon U.S.A. website is down, you may be able to find the drivers through Canon Canada: https://canoncanada.custhelp.com/app
You might also wish to try updating the printer's firmware.
