This printer continues to blink a red light on the button that looks like a sheet of paper.  There is plenty of paper in the tray.  How can I get this to stop.  It is very annoying trying to print.

Hi cathyrm.

When the paper indicator light flashes, this may indicate that the machine is out of paper, or the wrong paper size is selected. Please turn the printer off and back on. Once it is back on, please press and hold the paper indicator key for 3 seconds. This will cause the User Data List to print from the machine.

If the User Data List prints, please check the page size settings in the program that you are using for printing and verify that it matches the size of the paper loaded in the tray. If the error persists, please call us at 1-800-OK-CANON (652-2666), Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET (excluding holidays).
