Selphy cp910 not fully printing colors

Not too long ago my grandma gave me her selphy cp910, I think it could be as old as when it was released (2014). I printed a few things months ago with no issues, tonight I tried to print again and it is suddenly printing really lightly, almost looks like a glitch on a computer, and most times only certain colors. I have swapped the ink twice, wiped the air vent, turned off and on, etc. I have included photos of what printing looks like. I would appreciate any help, thank you!

The Selphy uses dye-sublimation ribbons, not typical ink cartridges. If the ribbon is old, even if sealed, some colors may not transfer properly, leading to very light prints or missing colors.
