Selphy Square QX10 says new ink cartridge is unsupported

Hello, I’m having trouble with ink. The app is saying the new ink cartridge is ‘unsupported’. What does it mean? It is official Canon Color Ink/Label Set XS-20L Square Format Label. I am quite furious, I’ve changed ink multiple times before without any issues and now this. I have three new boxes and each is labelled ‘unsupported’ by the app. It’s 50 euros… please help

Hi teroux,

Because you get the same error with multiple cassettes It would appear that your SELPHY QX-10 would require service.  To obtain service, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on Service & Support on the left side of your My Canon account.

On the next page, click on the red Get Service & Support button to the right of your SELPHY QX-10.

Then on the page that appears, scroll down and click on the Start Repair button.
