SELPHY CP1500 setup QR code doesn't work

It worked for a while then just stopped. I tried to set it up again and the scan codes came up as invalid.  You pay a fortune for this tech and you are forever having to re-connect and the QR codes don't work.  Cannon just don't seem interested in helping.   We are just directed to other users that are have problems.

Hi tc1000ok,

Please try connectng your SELPHY CP1500 to the same Wi-Fi as your phone using these steps:

1.  Please turn your CP1500 on.

2.  Using the arrow keys, please select Wi-Fi settings and press OK.

3.  Choose Connection Settings and press OK.

4.  Choose Other and press OK.

5.  Choose Via Wireless Router and press OK.

6.  Choose Find wireless routers and press OK.

7.  Select your Wi-Fi name from the list that appears and press OK.

8.  On the Password Entry screen, press the Menu button to enable to on screen keyboard and enter your Wi-Fi password.  Once the password has been entered, press OK.  For information on entering information, please click this link.

     

9.  Once Connected to the wireless router appears, press OK.

10.  Press OK on the confirmation screen.

Once your CP1500 is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your phone, please open the SELPHY Photo Layout app on your phone and print your image(s).
