SELPHY CP1500 images getting cropped

frmouza

Hello the community !

I've recently bought a Canon SELPHY CP-1500 Camera with a kit of postcard paper.

The size of the postacard is 10 cm x 14,8 cm and my picture, from Photoshop (or any other graphic tool) is confirmed as 10 cm x 14,8 cm (with a 300 dpi resolution). Even if I select the correct size of paper and the option bordless, my image never prints correctly. It seems that there is a zoom & cropp that appears, because my image covers the entire paper, it remains cropped.

Any idea, when setting to use to print my 10 x 14,8 cm image as a perfect match for the paper (no border and no crop) or should I use a different size or resolution for my image.

Thanks for your help and support,

Fred

Unfortunately I am not aware of any fix for this behaviour.

To get around it, the only option I see is to make each image larger by placing a white border around it, sized exactly so that when it's cropped, only that empty border is removed.

I have tried this and i has not worked.

This seems like a pretty major bug that the printer crops off about 0.5 CM of image every time you print. So far this has happened to me regardless of printing from Mac OS, and from my iPad.

Just upgraded from 1.0.4.0 firmware to 1.0.6.0 firmware in the hopes that it might fix the issue but the print had 0.5 cm of content cut off/missing in exactly the same way.

Thanks for the update on the firmware. Shame.
