How do you contact someone at canon ? A phone number to speak with a live person ? I'm having issues connecting my WiFi to my Selphy cp1300 and nothing I'm doing is working.

My phone isn’t connecting to my Canon CP1300. I’ve tried every avenue the manual and phone suggest. Nothing and I mean nothing has worked. Is it just obsolete or…?

Hi LoriMay85,
You can connect your SELPHY CP1300 to the same Wi-Fi as your phone using these steps:
1. Please press the HOME button on your SELPHY CP1300.
2. Please use the arrow buttons to select [Wi-Fi Settings] and press the OK button. (it is the bottom middle icon)
3. Use the down arrow to select [Connection Method - Via Wi-Fi Network] and press OK.
4. On the Connection Method screen, choose [Via Wi-Fi Network] and press OK.
5. Use the down arrow to select [Search for an access point] and press OK.
6. Use the arrow to select your Wi-Fi network name and press OK.
7. Press the MENU button to access the on screen keyboard and then enter your Wi-Fi password.
8. Once your password is entered, press OK.
9. "Connected to access point" should appear, press OK.
These steps can also be viewed in the manual starting page 58. The manual for your CP1300 can be accessed by using this link:
Canon Support for SELPHY CP1300 > Manuals
Once that page loads, click the "View" button to the right of SELPHY CP1300 Printer User Guide.
