PIXMA iP100: reports 'no paper' but there is paper in the tray,

proedler
Apprentice

My IP 100 has functioned all the years perfectly, but now it reports 'no paper' but there is paper in the tray! After the initialising of the printer (normal sequenz, head is shifting right left) The orange starts to flash twice even there is paper in the tray and also not any paper jam. I cant find apaper sensor to fit it. I am very sure it will work fine still if it would only accept the paper!!!!

Any ideas or suggestions

Thanks for posting!

While our Forum Community members are welcome to chime in, the Canon PIXMA iP100 has been retired. That means we do not offer support for the printer or updated drivers. We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer. They can be reached at 866-443-8002.
