PIXMA iP100 - Won't Show Up

I am trying to print from my new windows 11 dell laptop using the USB cable from printer to laptop.  My computer does not give me the option of choosing the iP100 and I can not add this printer.

Any suggestions?

There are a few steps AFTER step #9 but your information was extremely helpful. I got my Canon Pixma IP100 to work find on my new Lenovo ThinkPad with Win 11. Thanks!

Thanks for the response. Just got notified by Canon of reponses to my two year old question. Asus helped me get my printer installed but thanks for the assistance.
