My Image Garden

mcdonme
Apprentice

I've occasionally used My Image Garden over the past three years but I'm not a heavy user.  I was trying to reduce the size of the data on my c:\ drive today and discovered that My Image Garden is taking up something like 7GB of data in the App Data/Roaming directory.

Most of it is in an imgdata file in the Database and Showcase directories.

Is there a way to purge or delete these files safely?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi mcdonme,

Temporary files that My Image Garden creates are located in:

C:\Users\*your user name*\AppData\Roaming\Canon\My Image Garden\Temp

You can safely delete the items in this folder to regain space on your hard drive.

Thanks for the response, Patrick.

My temporary folder has nothing in it, just empty folders.

The "Common" folder, however, has 2.63GB, and the Showcase has 4.35.

Can I purge those files as well?

Thanks,

Mark
