Can someone tell me when Canon started putting Foam in the Ink Cartridges? And also why they started this. I was curious about refilling the cartridges and view a clip on youtube and seen that the cartridges had the foam inside. I was also surprised that some of the foam did not show any signs that it had ink on it. It's bad enough to put foam into the cartridge but then not even fill it up after that is cutting to the cheap side. I mean after all they charge an arm and leg for the cartridges as it is.
