Hello.
I have an old Canon prnter and there is no way I can figure out why it won't print black even though the inks are full. Coincdentally I had the exact same problem a few weeks ago with an Epson printer while in France and was able to call Epson tech support who sent me a solution to follow and voilà I had a working printer.
But I cannot fight my way through the Canon phone robot and reach a human for help even for a price. I don't see a solution on Canoncommunity and am waiting to see if I get a response to the question I posted.
But given this experience, the next printer I buy will not be a Canon but could be an Epson.
