Greetings,
Where are you located? Where are you trying to register your product? I thought the TS3420 was intended for sale in Canada. Just want to make sure you're trying to register in the right location.

Some printers will only print on certain paper sizes if the Photo Print preset option is selected. Choose Standard and select paper type.

Thank you. It looks you are right:
"Compatible paper sizes include 3.5"x x3. 5", 4" x 4" Square, 4" x 6" and 5" x 5" Square only, and compatible media types include Genuine Canon Photo Paper Glossy, Photo Paper Semi-Gloss, Photo Paper Luster and Photo Paper Matte only."
Thanks for that.

Someone else reported a similar problem. When I suggested using Standard instead of Photo they were able to pint on Letter photo paper. Just select the appropriate media type and see if it works.

Is it hard on the printer, or ink cartridge to print that way, on photo paper using the "Standard" option instead of "Photo"?
A quick google search somewhat said it could cause problems.

I don’t understand why, it is just a preset that is pre-selecting certain options. I only use Standard. 10+ years with my Pro100.
