When I try to scan slides (or anything else) on my CanoScan 8800F scanner using MP Navigator EX and, I get a message saying "scan failed (no error code), but I'm able to scan directly from OmniPage (but only a full page scan without the backlight). I'm running Windows 7 on a Lenovo Thinkpad and I've reloaded the software a couple of times using the distribution disk that came with the scanner. I used to be able to scan when I was using Windows XP, but haven't tried in a long time and now it won't work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
