Desktop shortcut for Canoscan scanner

I just installed the drivers for my Canoscan 9000f mark 2 on my second computer.

I don't know how to create a desktop shortcut to access it without having to go in the Start menu

Hello.

For Windows computers, you can right-click on the icon that opens the IJ Scan Utility program.  Then select the option to either pin it to the Start Menu or Taskbar depending on the version of Windows that is on your computer.

Thank you. It does not place the icon on the desktop but it does make it accessible without having to open the Start menu
